AI is where I’m heading, and I’m building to get there — not just talking about it. My side project Beerolog is a recommender built on embeddings, pgvector retrieval, a two-stage match engine, and a real evaluation harness. Day to day I also lean on Claude Code and AI tooling to move faster without getting careless.

One continuous freelance engagement - embedded full-time in the product teams at Autofleet and Affilomania
Autofleet
Built Autofleet's new React Native app from scratch to 60,000 active users - shipped from a codebase shared with a second live app, keeping both compatible for ~100,000 users combined. Rebuilt the mobile design system and resolved shared-component dependencies blocking a React Native version upgrade.
Other work included reporting flows, maintenance history, regression coverage, and web performance improvements.
Affilomania
Cut Affilomania's bundle size ~50% through a deep Next.js design-system refactor - compression, atomization, and tighter dependency boundaries. Led a legacy JavaScript to TypeScript migration that cut bugs ~30%, and packaged the design system as a private NPM library (Rollup to Vite, Storybook, Cypress).
Tooling
Built custom Claude Code skills used daily - a PR-summary generator, and a code review that fans out four clean-context sub-agents across a branch. Individual practice, not an org-wide rollout.

monday.com — Workdocs infrastructure
Shipped foundational component infrastructure to 300,000+ active monday.com Workdocs users, working across a large React / Node.js / Ruby on Rails codebase. Built the editor's nested-block architecture and an abstraction over the Workdocs notification system, so the team could ship new block types and alert types without risking an invalid document state.

Cut marketing-page build time ~4x - from days to hours - with a reusable Next.js / React component system, owning the marketing engineering systems in a regulated health-tech environment. Launched the Healthy.io Trust Center, the content platform for FDA, GDPR, ISO 27001 and HITRUST compliance.

Beerolog
Two-stage recommender - pgvector retrieval over OpenAI embeddings shortlists candidates against a user's taste vector, then an LLM produces the pick and a short "why this one for you." A retrieval eval harness (precision@5, MRR) gates quality in CI, so match-engine changes cannot silently regress. Engineering exhibit, not a startup.

Life Around the Keyboard.
Founder — Colman Dev Club
Founded and led the first official developer club at the College of Management — practical workshops and real projects that drove 80% job placement for graduates. Raised 10,000 NIS from the student union, hit that goal on roughly half the planned budget, and trained the next round of mentors so it still runs 6+ years later.
Lead organizer — Hackathons
Led Colman Hack 2021 and MTA Hack 2019: two 24-hour build events, ~100 participants each, with technical logistics, sponsorships, and mentors moving people from idea to demo.
Zouk dancer & chess player
Away from the keyboard I social-dance Zouk and play chess — one is reading a room and moving with it, the other is quiet pattern-hunting. Both are how I reset at the end of a long week.
